The past season's private placements exceeded €650,000, and ten of them tell the story.
A 5.02-carat Burmese ruby led the way at €187,200 — a reminder that top-colour Burmese stones remain the most competitive corner of the coloured-stone market. A Cartier Panthère brooch followed at €91,000.
At the other end of the scale, a Belle Époque pendant found its buyer at €16,900, proof that romance and wearability still matter as much as carat weight. Every piece placed this season remains visible in the catalogue under Sold — we believe a house's record should be part of its offer.
